   Louie family dental was founded in downtown Walnut Creek, California by Dr. Terence Louie in 1978.  Since opening their doors they have focused on providing patient focused, companionate, top tier dental care to the community.

   Dr. Terence Louie graduated from Colombia University with a Masters of Science in Engineering. He then went on to Tufts University and obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine before settling in the Bay Area with his wife and starting his dental practice.  They raised two children, both of whom followed in their father’s footsteps and started careers in dentistry.  

 

   Dr. Quintin Louie graduated from MIT with a degree in chemical engineering and then attended Harvard where he obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine.  Dr. Q, as he is known by patients, first considered a career in oral maxilllofacial surgery, but soon realized that his heart was with his family and his community. He joined his father at Louie family dentistry in 2007.  He completed a post graduate dental hospital residency program at Stanford and has incorporated his surgical interest and skills into the practice.

 

   Together, this father-son team strives to provide cutting edge, affordable, comprehensive dental care to families.  They work with each patient to create a personalized oral health care plan. From regular checkups and cleanings, to Invisalign treatments, to dental implants and advanced surgical dental procedures, Dr. Louie and Dr. Q work together to provide for all dental needs for each patient. While the primary focus is dental and oral health, Dr. Louie and Dr. Q understand the importance of a beautiful smile, and strive to help each patient maintain and achieve that goal.  Patients of all ages are welcome, and as the Louie family dental practice has grown through the years, it has been common for patients to bring their children and grandchildren into the Louie dental office for long term dental care.

   There is no bigger compliment and testament to the care provided by Louie family dental than the many long time patients who have referred their friends, children, and grandchildren for comprehensive dental care.  Their combined skill and ability to see patients of all ages makes this family focused approach possible.

 

   When away from the office, Terence enjoys fly fishing and spending time with his family. Quintin is an avid skier and in his time away from the dental office he volunteers as a ski patroller, guides skiers in the backcountry and teaches classes on avalanche safety.
